Camp Roswell

On Thursday night we had a practice camp-out in our very own backyard wilderness. We just got a new family sized tent and we want Ivy to get used to sleeping in it before we go on our real camping trip to El Capitan state beach in a few weeks. Ivy did really well considering that the nearby Frat-House was having a beginning of semester party until 3:00 AM! I didn't do so well though. I couldn't get to sleep with all of the wild noises going on and my arthritic joints just don't do so well on our inflatable mattress.(I don't think I had it inflated enough). Our cat, Motorhead, decided to join us part of the night and all I could think of was that he was going to pierce the mattress with his claws. Real camping will hopefully be more peaceful.
