Weekend trip to CO

Last weekend, Uncle Danny, Ivy, and I flew to Denver to visit my sister Debra and her family. We had a great time hanging out with Debra, her husband Chris, and Clare, Ivy's 2 1/2 year old cousin.

The girls got along really well and had a lot of fun entertaining each other and giggling.

I flew with Ivy on my lap. Not the best choice at this stage in her development. It was not only physically uncomfortable having a 20 lb. toddler squirming on my lap the whole trip, hoping she wouldn't fling herself onto the passengers sitting next to me, but also a little embarrassing having her scream "BooBooB" and pulling on my shirt whenever she wanted to nurse. She's not exactly discreet with this lately. To top it off, Danny wasn't able to sit next to me because the flight was so full. We both had seperate middle seats. Nice huh!? Lesson learned: The next plane trip we take, Ivy will be weaned and in her own paid in full seat, even if she is still under 2.

The girls are so cute together. Hope all the cousins can get together soon. Brendon and Lauren can babysit and have a great time with them. I have to laugh about the "BooBoob." I remember Lauren pulling up my shirt sometimes and it was so embarrassing.

I can't get over how much the girls look like their mommies in that top pic! Too cute!

Nice pics! It was so great having you and Ivy and Danny over. I finally lost the 2.5 pounds I gained from all that wine Danny and I drank this week.
