Shoe Show
I recently had to get some new shoes to match a new dress I bought for a wedding Scott and I were going to. I ended up ordering 6 pairs of shoes on Zappos.com one night, after a couple of glasses of wine, totaling almost $500.00!. It sounds scary but is really such a great service because they show up at my door practically the next day. (Free shipping too)!
I ended up trying them on with my friend Dianne, who not only wears my same size, but is a professional costumer and a shoe shopping expert! We had so much fun trying on the different shoes and putting on a real "Shoe Shoe" for Scott and Danny who was over that night. We ended up choosing a pair and I sent the rest back (Free return shipping!)
Because Scott performed at the wedding, he wore his geat purple vintage suit made by the famous cowboy tailor "Turk".
The wedding was held at MOLAA, the newly renovated and expanded Museum of Latin American Art, right here in Long Beach. Most of it was outdoors in the garden wich is a really cool architectural space. I think Scott and I were definitely the most colorfully dressed couple. I also got quite a few compliments on my shoes. Unfortunately, I did have to change into flats after about four hours of walking and dancing on the cement in heels much higher than I am used to.
Lastly, is this great picture I got of Ivy on a recent visit to the park. I couldn't believe I got her smiling so big. As some of you with kids know, it is so hard to get a perfect shot nowadays with these new-fangled digital cameras and their stupid delay!
