Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas everyone! This picture was actually taken a week before Christmas when Scott's sister Kathleen was visiting. We were proud that we were able to fit in a nice size tree in the living room this year instead of the usual Charlie Brown twig that had to be propped up on a table.


Last week was a huge week for Ivy. She now has her very own big-girl, twin size bed. We've kept the mattress on the floor for now, and yes, the transition is not going easy. Tonight was a little better though, thanks to some good advice from the parenting websites! This picture is Scott and Ivy in her bed last weekend after I came home from work in the morning. So cute! At least they eventually got to sleep!


We had a great Christmas. Danny came over late on Christmas Eve and stayed the night. We all woke up to lots of gifts under the tree from Santa and Family. Thanks for all of the great presents everyone sent! Ivy is holding a favorite gift from Scott, an Enid doll, from the movie Ghost World. Ivy is still young enough where we can really buy her gifts that WE want. She doesn't know what to ask for yet!

Yes, Ivy is painting naked. It was warm enough outside and she didn't want to put her clothes on just yet. It was certainly easier to clean her up afterwards.
