March has always been and is still all about birthdays in our family. We started the month out with surprising Debra for her _0 'th by flying out to Denver to visit her. Here's Ivy with her cousin Clare eating lunch at a park. It happen to be a record high that day of about 74 degrees.

Here's the birthday girl looking as young as ever with her happy baby Drew! That kid is so good. I don't think he cried once the entire weekend we were there! What a smile!

On Sunday, after that record high, we woke up to a beautiful snow! Debra is dusting her car off so we could go shopping. Ivy had a ball playing in the snow for about 10 minutes. It just got too cold. The wind chill factor was about 12 degrees and she just wouldn't keep her mittens on. (I have more pictures from this trip, but just can't locate them right now and I didn't want to delay posting this blog any longer.)

Next, we celebrated Danny's birthday. I made him a Jello Brand Cherry cheesecake, just like our mom used to make for all of us kids for our birthdays when we were kids. It tasted just like we remembered! Yum!

Lastly, we celebrated my birthday, which happen to land on Easter this year. Scott and Ivy surprised me with homemade carrot cake. (yes, the Hacienda's famous recipe). I was so impressed that they made it all without me knowing while I was as work. Thanks and Happy Birthday again to all!
